- General provisions. Consent
These terms of use of the website represent an agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”), in the form of a public offer regarding the terms of use of the website https://cscbe.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”), represented by the right holder of the Site, and the domain name: cscbe.com, – The Centre for Social change and Behavioural economics (hereinafter referred to as “Centre”), and third parties – individuals and/or legal entities (hereinafter referred to as the “User”).
The User undertakes to fully familiarize himself/herself with this Agreement before using the information posted on and/or registering for and/or filling out any questionnaires, forms, etc. on the Site.
The Centre provides an opportunity to use the Site under the following conditions. By opening any page and/or registering on and/or filling out any questionnaire, form, etc. on the Site, the User fully and unconditionally accepts the terms of the Agreement, agrees and undertakes to comply with the following provisions of the Agreement.
The Centre reserves the right to change the terms of access to the Site, terminate access to it, change or remove the content of pages at any time, without prior notice.
The Centre may, on its own initiative or at the request of the User, supplement, correct or delete any incomplete, inaccurate or outdated personal data stored by the Site in connection with the operation of this Site. Each time you visit the Site, we recommend checking the terms and conditions for changes.
If the User disagrees with the terms of the Agreement for using the Site, the User shall immediately stop using the Site.
- Applicable law
The proposed terms and conditions of the Agreement are regulated and interpreted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine
- Disclaimer
The Centre that publishes information on the Site, its management, employees, authors and other persons associated with it under no circumstances bear legal responsibility for any direct or indirect damage, losses and/or expenses that resulted from the use or impossibility of using the information posted on the Site.
The Centre bears no responsibility for any errors, typographical errors, and inaccuracies that may be discovered by the User in the materials posted on the Site. The Centre makes every effort in order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information provided on the Site.
The Centre is not responsible to any User for the use or misuse of the information posted on the Site.
Such a limitation of liability is applied in order to avoid compensation for direct, indirect, accidental impact and/or other damage arising as a result of the User receiving assistance through the use of information from the Site.
The Centre is not responsible for possible illegal actions of the User in relation to third parties or for possible illegal actions of third parties in relation to the User.
The information published on the Site cannot be used as a legal opinion, medical advice, instructions, etc.
- Procedure for using the Site
The Site allows the User to view and download information from the Site exclusively for personal, non-commercial use. It is forbidden to modify the materials of the Site and/or for commercial purposes.
It is prohibited to use the Site to disseminate false information or materials that violate the current legislation of Ukraine.
The Site prohibits direct or indirect insults to third parties, calls for a violent change of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, calls for a change of the administrative borders or the state border of Ukraine, violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine, any offensive behaviour and speech that can be traced intentionally provoking a sharp and / or negative reaction of other users, as well as any actions and messages prohibited by the legislation in force in Ukraine.
- Privacy, personal data and security
By agreeing to this Agreement, the User gives his/her full and unconditional consent to the collection, processing and use of his/her personal data under the conditions and in the manner stipulated by the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data”.
The Centre collects only the information that contains the User’s personal data, and which the User voluntarily provides when registering on the Site and/or filling out questionnaires, forms, etc. without registering on the Site, that is, only in those cases when such information is necessary for providing and/or improvement of assistance to Users regarding which information is contained on the Site.
The Centre takes the necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal data of the Site User.
The Centre is not responsible for the actions of third parties (including Internet providers who ensure the technical availability of the Site at the location of the User) in relation to the protection of communication channels through which information is transmitted from the Site or to the Site.
The Centre will not transfer personal data to third parties, except when the transfer of personal data is necessary in accordance with the requirements of the legislation in force in Ukraine.
The User has the right, on the basis of a request sent to the e-mail of the Centre [email protected], to get acquainted with information about his/her personal data processed and stored by the Centre, to demand clarification of personal data or their deletion from the information system of personal data of the Centre’s Site.
- Rights and obligations of the parties
- The User has the rights and obligations defined by this Agreement and the legislation in force in Ukraine.
- The User is obliged under no circumstances to take the following actions: copying, distribution, downloading, transfer, sale or any other use of intellectual property objects from the Site not agreed with the Centre;
- any other illegal actions that contradict the legislation in force in Ukraine and this Agreement.
- The Centre makes all reasonable efforts to maintain the Site in working condition, but does not guarantee the constant and uninterrupted operation of the Site and is not responsible for ensuring its uninterrupted functioning.
- The Centre has the right, at its own discretion, to remove any information and/or User’s message from the Site, if it violates the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine or the terms of this Agreement.
- Information about cookies and their usage
Cookies are used during the operation of the Site, which provide support for security functions and their launch. Cookies also allow tracking violations of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of the Site by Users/their devices. You can read more about the terms of use of cookies here.
- Privacy Policy
The Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy of the Centre describes the privacy policy for the Site. This document explains what types of information may be collected and stored on the site, and how this information may be used and provided.
Information provided by Users through an electronic form or otherwise through the Site and of a personal nature is used by the Centre exclusively for the implementation of the purposes specified in the aforementioned policy and in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data” No. 2297-VI dated 01.06.2010 as amended and with additions. - Intellectual property rights
We emphasize that the Centre’s project, including its Site, is non-commercial, has teaching, educational and other socially important and useful functions. Therefore, all materials posted on the Site are informative and are not used for commercial purposes.
All results of intellectual activity and means of personalization placed on the Site, including, but not limited to, design elements, graphic images (including illustrations), photographic works, text, articles, audiovisual works and other works, as well as trademarks etc., are protected in accordance with the legislation in force in Ukraine.
The use of the materials on the Site is permitted only for non-commercial purposes, provided that the source is indicated in the form of an active hyperlink to the Site.
The User agrees not to reproduce, repeat, copy any part of the Site, except when such permission is granted to the User by the Centre.
The above-mentioned objects of intellectual property separately and all together constitute the Content (hereinafter referred to as the “Content”) of the Site.
The Site, as a complex object of intellectual property, the domain name (cscbe.com) represents the property of the Centre.
The use of the Site, including its Content, is allowed only for the purpose of familiarization and for the possibility of obtaining assistance, information about which is posted on the Site.
The use of the Site, including its Content, for commercial purposes is not allowed.
Citation of text materials published on the Site is permitted with mandatory indication of an active hyperlink to the Site or to a section of the Site with quoted content.
- Procedure for the validity of the Agreement and amendments
This Agreement enters into force for each User of the Site when he/she gives his/her Agreement to the terms of this Agreement, and it is valid between the User and the Centre during the entire period of use of the Site by the User.
The Centre has the right to make amendments to this Agreement. Amendments will be published on the Site.
Amendments will also apply to persons who are already Users of the Site at the time of the entry into force of such amendments.
Amendments will enter into force on the day they are published/placed on the Site.
